Greetings my crafty followers! Today I have a quick card featuring the Bundle of Joy stamp set by Technique Tuesday. This card was fun and easy to make. Given that I love vellum I had to add some to this card.
To begin, the background was made by stamping the little heart in Dusty Rose ink by Gina K on Bubblegum Pink card stock by Gina K. The purple pattern paper and vellum are from my stash. Then I cut the three panels using the discontinued Pinking Edge Rectangle STAX die set from MFT stamps. (I know I use a lot of discontinued stuff, but I bought it, I love it, and I will continue to use it.) 🙂
Memento Tuxedo Black ink was used to stamp the image and greeting because I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. Sparkle was added to the purple heard with a Wink of Stella sparkle pen. Then I sponged Bubblegum Pink ink around the edges of the stamped panel and punched a small hole at the top to turn this into a tag. Pink ribbon finishes off the tag and a sprinkling of Sparkling Clear Sequins attached with Zots Bling dots, finishes off the card. And you know what happens when you set the cover of your pink ink pad on your image?…. It leaves a mark! See the double line running through the “O”? Oh well, I did not have the energy to start over. And after all, this is a handmade card!
For the inside card panel I used the same Pinking Edge Rectangle STAX die set. A congratulation greeting from Stampin Up was perfect for the inside greeting. To finish the inside I sponged Wild Wisteria ink by Gina K around the edges. Love that color!
