Christmas Card – Merry & Bright StampTV Kit

Merry & Bright StampTV Kit

Hello and thanks for stopping by.  I am so excited to share with you the Merry & Bright Stamp TV Kit by Gina K Designs.

Pinecone Christmas Card

Wow!  This kit comes with 24 coordinating dies!  In fact the word dies come with matching outline dies as well.  This is perfect for creating a recessed look on a card.  For starters, to design the card layout I placed the pine branch, the pinecone die and the Christmas outline die on my front panel cut from Sandy Beach card stock.  Next I stamped the pine branch with Christmas Pine ink and adjusted the dies.

Using my Cuttlebug I die cut the pinecone and the Christmas outline.  Since the word Merry fit perfectly in the small space between the “C” and the “t”, I used my MISTI stamp positioning tool to it line up and stamp it on the card.

Recessed Elements

Element 1 The Christmas Die Cut

Because this is a Christmas card, I chose Christmas Pine and Cherry Red card stock for the word Christmas.  Actually, the Christmas Pine card stock is used behind the red die cut word.  By placing the top panel over the Christmas Pine card stock I was able line up the word Christmas inside the die cut window and glue it down.  At this point the Christmas Pine card stock is not attached to the panel.

Element 2 The Pinecone

Because gold embossing is so elegant, I chose to use it for the pinecone.  Also to add contrast I embossed the image on Dark Chocolate card stock.

Popping Things Up

In order to create the recessed look I used foam tape to pop up the front panel.  After placing the foam tape on the back side of the front panel, I flipped it over and lined up the image and word with the die cut holes.  Then I attached this to a Ivory card base.

Adding More Shine

For more elegance and shine I used a Stardust Pure Glitter Pen to trace the pine needles.  In addition, I added some gold twine wrapping it three times around the card front and tying a bow. When a Stamp TV kit is retired, the stamps and dies can be purchased separately.

Here is another card I made using the Merry and Bright StampTV Kit.
